If your happiness is >20 (I think, may be wrong) then you will end up spawning rebels which are red units. You might need to fix your unhappiness to stop them from spawning.
I never built this wonder in any of the games since the DLC. Is this a bug? I don't know the exact function of the wonder itself except that you generate gold for every great person you use.
Worst:
Suleiman - Frame rate is really bad for his screen
Catherine - Frame rate not as bad but still annoying
Khan - He just looks terrible
Best:
Everyone else

Been playing for a bit but I'm also juggling play time with school/studies/life. Won a couple games already in Warlord (I'm still learning a bit) and right now I'm in the middle of a Huge map game.
When I start the replay it works fine when I was loading the replay for Elizabeth but when I tried loading a replay for Isabelle the program crashes after clicking "Step".
I'm using 0.4 is that is any more use.
I started with Civ 1 on the SNES and then jumped straight to Civ 4. I wasn't so great at 4 and when Civ 5 came around the corner I was just about to take a crack at Noble difficulty.
I have the same complaint too, it took such a long time to finish my first game, granted I was playing on Chieftain. It felt like playing an Epic game in Civ 4 when I had the speed on normal.
I'm runnning Civ 5 on my HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop.
Once I toggled the map to strategic (due to limited specs) I never turned back. I love that simplistic map.
