    On my laptop here http://www.maindot.com/technologynews/archives/acer-aspire-1691 Ive got to around 2600AD and the game is going quite slow. But it dose not crash. So I am quite lucky.

    Civ 4 on Acer Laptop

    Just to let you know Ive got the game running on my laptop ok now. I updated the XML parser object and it works fine now. I have not played on a big map yet though so dont know if it will slow down. I might go and try to update the XML parser object on my pc.

    I am going to try this patch for the game http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/civilization4/civ4_v152_patch.exe.html the one I tried was the 44 MB one but this is 41 MB.

    Ive put the patch on the pc. It says please insert correct DVD ROM now. But the game is in the DVD Drive.
