I learnt this from the first copy of Civ3 I had. I've been running Conquests alot the last couple of days. I've had four or five games go up to the Medieval era while I was fine tuning the settings in the Edit. I also started a couple of Vanilla games just for this. I've started the game from...

What I have tried so far: Set all folder and files to lowest security/maximum openness. Unsuccessful. Installed a fixed .exe to get conquests to run on its own. Unsuccessful. Searched the registry for the file. Unsuccessful. Searched all locations for the file. Unsuccessful. HELP!
