The Phoenicians are the relatives of the Canaanites.I didn't say anything about Israel country but only about Israelites civilisation
As I know Canaan were Semitic people but not Israelites. They had the same pantheon of deities like later Phoenicians.
How's it going with your extension by the way?

For fixing the map "Europe, Asia and Africa"
i downloaded the mod two days ago and i had this problem , After picking a civ the game crashes so i intended to write it down but it seems you found a way to fix it
I was very much looking forward to playing this mod, however after about 20 turns my capital was conquered by barbarians. There was nothing I could do about it, or could have been done. The barbarian units are too powerful in attack compared to the player units at the beginning of the game. This looks like a very good mod, but for me it is ruined by small oversights like this. Before the response of 'it could happen historically in reality' - This is a game - I do not accept this situation, I am fairly annoyed at this actually.
