I think you acn't traade cause when you trade a city, there isn't a single unit in it, making it easy to reclaim, so if you got money for the city, you would get money and the city

Well, the 201 lump sum for 20 gpt won't work cause the AI would lose 199 gold. (20*20 =400, so you'd have to give them 401 gold, or make the deal 201 gold for 10gpt)

The only time I ever got a diplo victory was through sheer luck (the one civ ahead of me in production went into civil disorder allowing me to pass him). I was wondering if France was any good. They have good traits for a builder and their UU provides an excellent time for the MA Great Wonders but I was wondering what anyone elsse thought. Are there any particular strategies I should follow by? Also, what are sopme of the best civ traits...

Anyone know a good strategy to get a good, early cultural victory? Right now, my strategy is rapid expansion, then build culture producing buildings, but I end up being succeptible to the more powerful civs. Early in game, should start a few wars to get more land? This usually doesn't work...
