Incomprehensible. Just shows that no-one really knows whats going on inside someone else's head. He seemed to have it all - nice bloke, great footballer, a managerial careeer that was taking off. Friends who talked to him hours before his death had no clue. I guess we'll never really know why.

Tree algorithms like this are Ok in chess where there is a relatively small number of choices. They dont work in 15x15 Go where the tree becomes unmanageable very quickly. I cant see they will therefore be much use in Civ where the number of squares and pieces is so much larger still.

Tried a few times varying moves but this save file crashes to desktop at the end turn stage everytime for me DX11/Win7 Its a 'new' post patch game.

Therer used to be a few pretty good dip players around here and we played a few pbem games. iirc Flatlander Fox was pretty much the leader of the Dip group.

Odd - in that line white usually attacks queenside and black has the king side attack but he never got round to it.

Sullla's's depth of analysis and clarity of vision are rare. He has the ability to cut to the strategic heart of a game very quickly. I've been a follower (and lurker) of his (and others) feats at Realms Beyond for many years.
