There is no divide between LGBTQ and people of colour, just as there is no divide between LGBTQ and white people. Issues intersect, BLM protesting pride was addressing an issue of black people being marginalized. It's exactly what they are supposed, and need to do.

Toronto BLM is largely made up of queer and trans people. They were agitating for better representation for black people within pride, which is overwhelmingly white, and an end to police floats in the parade. Black lives means black lives in all contexts, not just with regards to police...

As a Torontonian, I agree with this 100%. The city's reaction to this peaceful example of direct action was nothing short of disgusting.
