    Civ4 shows liberal bias?

hmm what about emperor palpatine (darth sidious) appearing on the icon of "guilds" tech ? don't you think it humiliates conservatives, anyone ? :)

Tie the tech tree to tech use.

yes, I think this is a good idea too. But the whole tech tree should be revised and tech costs must be lowered to compensate for the production requirements.

    Water tiles are horrible

I agree that the tiles are pretty much balanced as it is now. If water tiles were to produce a shield in someway (as in civ2) it would pretty much break the balance in the favor of coastal cities. It's better to leave it as it is now and let the less productive both financially beneficial...

    Black Ops

hmm, maybe asassins can be used to kill great people in enemy cities ? I'ld be really pissed if somebody used one against me.

    The Internet

I always thought the great library was too powerful in the earlier civs. I think it's nice to have a similar wonder in the later stages of the game, but the internet is just too late. I've never used it, and I've never seen any AI use it either. Usually space race is won (or about to be won) by...

Do you find your games repeating the same pattern?

Well, I've been playing the game for about a month now, and the thing that disturbs me most is the rigid AI characteristics. Like, if you start with Alexander or Napoleon somewhere near you, you know you're going to war with them sooner or later which takes a lot from the fun. Seriously, I've...

    Movement + attack = defeat

I thought mounted units don't get defence bonuses ?

    Power of stone,marble, copper, etc...

somehow I got the impression that marble is found areas closer to the poles, and stone is near to the equitor. Maybe you're playing in warm climate ?

Why I think religion is broken in CIV

this may be partially true, but you are missing a point. There are many factors effecting scientific advance. The eastern world had a great burden, the chinese alphabet, which is (and has been) notoriosly hard to learn. This resulted in less people becoming literate, and slower tech advance...

    War Experiences.

AI makes an assumption, but it doesn't know for sure. Sometimes he tries to attack if he thinks the odds are even. I have survived some attacks with 0.1-0.5 health units in my cities. It was very close. The attacking style seems to differ with the leader. Some leaders love naval invasions. In...

    Pyramids overpowered

yes it does, and it gives some health bonus for some food (wheat, corn, rice)

    The Roman War Machine

I've just won a domination victory at immortal level with romans at 840 AD. Duel map with 5 rivals. Was pretty easy cause somehow we had a pangea map with only one continent. I'ld rather like to have one or two rivals on another continent and engage a space race. That will be my next game at...

Idea for next patch: 'Split open-border rights'

yeah, I think it sounds very reasonable, this is how it should have been implemented in the first place.

    The Culture-Spreading Model

I didn't read all the posts, so I'm sorry if what I'll suggest right now has been said before. I think cultural units should be built by culture points, not shields. I say let them go. A newly conquered city stays with it oppressor only long as there are troops in the city to suppress the...

    automatic leader succession

this isn't neccessary. The game already has eras. And leader succession should be limited to once per each era. yes, America is a problem but not too much. I think America's leadership should be dependent on its foreign diplomacy, if it goes to war, a warmongering president could take over...
