Does anyone happen to know whether the science bug, and other problems, has been fixed on consoles? These days playing on Xbox it really feels like I'm a very poor relation

The game continues to repeatedly crash on XBox and there are certainly no mods, The AI science bug is also a big problem as is the lack of balance in many aspects of the game

Xbox One my games are infuriatingly crash frequent. I've given up playing The Xbox One X is much more powerful. Is this why it doesn't crash?

I used to play with huge maps but now changed to large to see if that is any better. Sadly not. The game used to play fine until one particular update. It may have been Gaul and Byzantium but can't remember for certain. After the update the game just kept crashing and the further into the...

My games are still regularly crashing even though I've tried the above. The final patch has been and gone but still no effective fix. Is anyone else who plays xbox one still having problems or has the problem magically vanished?

Periodically someone appears on these forums stating how much they hate the game and and they're never going to play it again and it's all rubbish. Somehow it seems similar to walking into a shop to announce that you're not going to buy anything and then walking out again. I don't understand...

I happen to think it's a decent enough feature. The human player gets more benefit out of city states than the AI does

Just to vary things a bit, the xbox one version is just as bad. The patch notes in the December update specifically stated that the crashes on consoles had been fixed. They haven't, my games are crashing the same or worse

Exactly the same problem as the OP. Have been in touch with 2K several times but no change as yet. Hoping that the next patch will fix it. Well maybe!
