    Hi Dshirk, Here are my files from my DX12 crash. Crashes every time the load screen for a new game is about to pop up the button to start the game and show the map for the first time. My card is most definitely DX12 supportable, and DX12 worked before GS. DX11 works no problem. Thanks Dshirk.

    Trade Routes question

    Thanks but thats not specific enough. Can a barbarian or enemy pillage any individual segment of the road that the trade route is running along and thus destroy your trader, or do they have to attack the specific caravan unit itself?

    Do you need to protect the entire trade route (ie the entire road from end to end) from pillaging, or just the trader guy itself that moves along it? Also, if its the latter, why didnt Firaxis add an option to "link" a unit to the trader so you dont have to move every single turn to protect it...

    Yup thats what it is, bad design. Its misleading at best. Also, your first settler when active does not show the reds and greens on the map like future settlers do, so the guide is useless for it.

    I did not know that. I assumed the checkmark moved around based on your location. Thanks. So its not a bug, but its very misleading. Also, its not much use for your first settler because when you click on it, it doesnt show you the map highlighted in reds and greens like future settlers do. So...

    Yea ive done that. Not just a bug with the display though. if i settle the city, the number of housing is way higher than it should be.

    This is turn 1 of a newly loaded map. So short answer is no. Plus, its not just this game I have the issue with. Every game i play, if i start next to the coast, I get the checkbox for fresh water. thinking this must be a bug.

    Posted this in general, but Im thinking now it may be a bug so posting it here. Why when i settle next to a coast am I getting the checkbox telling me Im next to fresh water? This happens in every game. I should only be getting +1 housing, but Im actually getting +3. I cant tell if this is bug...
