Ok, sorry about the wait guys... I think our scientists were working on a time machine, cos when I just opened that save (patched up civ4) lo and behold it was exactly 15 turns before 1900 :S
Oh well, here goes:
1) Just check whats happening
2) Washington observatory -> Tank
Madrid...
Ahem... b****r... managed to completely mess up my schedule over the weekend - family ate my free time... If you want to skip my turn, feel free (we've got peeps coming over tomorrow nite, so i may or may not be able to play :( )
Um, dual religions + the egyptian civ bonuses? I'd say thats a yea!
Won't be able to play til the w.e. - sorry guys, have just started a new job and its eating my time like crazy :(
Just a suggestion - do we all want to patch up to 1.52 and check we can still load the save before continuing - as Maksim can't play til jan 4th, I'm guessing we'll want to restart around the 5th or so? That should give us all time to patchify :D
Ok, here goes:
(0) I have a plan for my turns this time - wait until infantry, then crush washington flat... That'll teach him to help us and adopt our religion and generally be nice to us!
(1) Kill two workers - no real reason, just we seem to have tons and they were cluttering the map...
Torisen - nope, although the game *is* set up to appear that way, if you scroll to the bottom ai (the shaded out slot), and change "closed" in the drop down on the left hand side to "ai" (i *think*) you can add more civs to a smaller map - up to 18 maximum (on all maps - even duel :D)
Sorry about the delay guys - was lan'ing for my birthday the last coupla days...
Turn (0) - Decide not to culture bomb, as Cuzco is already getting +8/turn, I'll save the Great Artist for later (in my Eastern campaign...)
Set Tenoch to building War Elephant.
Feeling safe in the west, I pull...
Heh... I started dreaming up ideas for the next SG after about turn 10, right at the start... Thinking of doing a whole series of "cramped" (Small, Tiny or Duel maps with lots of civs) SG's, although I want to see how this one plays out before I draw up the next one...
With the production advantages we have, I'd suggest just plain steamrolling the others to a conquest victory - it'll probably be quicker than culture anyhow...
Jags get +10% against cities, which doesn't sound like much, but if the city is mostly defended by archers (as generally they are), thats 10% more than the Axemen...
I think going for Construction first so we can get cats then heading for literature/great library...
And we're off...
(0) The lazy worker lounging around outside orleans is ordered over to Tenoch, prior to the first turn so that...
(1) Worker builds a road on the cows... Finally, we can solve our unemployment problem - build roads :D
(2) Tenoch completes the workboat, which is...
To be quite honest, we'll have the marble in our borders soon anyway (yay having a religion!), and any city founded there would either hammer our capital or else have a very poor position tiles wise - just my personal opinion, but I *think* it'd be more worthwile to use the hammers to build more...
Not too sure what spot to the east you mean? There's a (very small, and we'd be risking a culture flip if Freddy really went for it) space to the west, but the only thing I could think you mean to the east isn't clear - that's the Greek lands (pale blue borders don't show up too well....)
