So uh...still no fix to this? This sucks. I wanna play but I'm tired of advancing so far only to get stuck at the infinite loop.

When I try to play internet multiplayer, it just sits at the create account/login screen. When I hit "login" or whatever, it hiccups for a second and sits there. Direct IP connection just times out when connecting to host or someone tries to connect to me. Any clue?

How am I doing in this fresh game? I keep restarting because I want to improve my opening, my terrain improvement, city placement, and rate of expansion. Only problem is that I have no Iron :(.

Say I am on a continent or arch map and the entire continent is nothing but regular plans, maybe some tundra, and a couple of dots. There is some forest around but that is all. No cows, no wheat, none of that. How could you possible improve a terrain like this to create enough food to...

Like I said before, most of the units in my cities are workers.There is nothing left to do on my land so they are fortified in my cities. I moved my own capital. I only automated workers once I could not see anything else to do.

What does that do?

Hey Doc, would you be willing to judge this game? Multiplayer hotseat game with my GF. I knocked off the Iroquois early (1000 BC) and my GF knocked off the Arabs. It is being played on Chieftan so my gf has a realistic shot (well, me too).

I just started trying a new game and the area around my main city is GREAT agricultural land. However, the top half of my island is completely covered in jungle and marsh (I'd say 40-50+ tiles). What do I do with that? And previously I played a map where almost half of my island was...
