Why isn't AI paying per turn anymore?

tjs282, thank you for your reply. But if you downloaded the saves, you would see that one save is from the turn before the other save. In the first save, all civs can do PPT deals. In the next save, none of them can. No trade deals appear to have been broken, and no supply routes appear to have...

Why isn't AI paying per turn anymore?

Thank you Lanzelot. The difference is, I am able to make future GPT deals in one save but not the other. One save is from the turn before the other save. I did something or something happened to lose future GPT deals, what did I do?

Why isn't AI paying per turn anymore?

In these two files, one from 590AD and one from 600AD, you'll notice AI pays per turn in 590, but not in 600. Why not?

    Monarchy or Feudalism

I prefer Feudalism, it's all about making lots of cities, keeping them small, drafting or forcing citizens to make workers, explorers and warriors when necessary. Or just have them make workers continuously every ten turns, as long as they get 2 food a turn. Then, at the base, you have only a...

Why isn't AI paying per turn anymore?

Attached you will find two files, one from 590AD and one from 600AD. In 590AD, each of my AI opponents will pay per turn for items, like my territory map or world map, for instance. However, in 600AD, only the Netherlands will. I have searched hard to find any differences, but I already checked...

    Conquests: Advice on New Game

Regarding barricades, is it true that pieces situated on barricades will automatically shoot enemy forces in its vicinity? Or does that only apply to artillery situated there? Is there any advantage for building barricades on the edge of an island? Will artillery positioned there shoot ships...

    Conquests: Advice on New Game

Ah perhaps you are correct, I should really observe how the AI interacts with my workers on the borders. How is it possible to disconnect a resource like iron from a city without disconnecting it from all of the other resources? One more thing: Since opponents can capture workers with their...

    Conquests: Advice on New Game

I wish to make a point about the value of unconnected cities in Feudalism. I notice that since I am on an island, and want to prevent civs from landing on my island, that I can put any unit on the edge of my island and prevent the AI civs from landing. However, the cheapest unit to build for my...

    Conquests: Advice on New Game

Actually to answer my own question this is what these tips say on this website: www.civfanatics.com/civ3/strategy/war_weariness.php "Subtract 1/20 of current wwp each turn in peace (round up)" Assume you sign peace when you just have gotten 100% ww in republic (121wwp) and keep out of his...

    Conquests: Advice on New Game

Regarding War Weariness, if your population is war weary, and you make peace with your enemy, only to declare war on them right away in the same turn, have you restarted your war weariness to zero, or is it back to its original level?

    Conquests: Advice on New Game

I will try invading another city and razing it, and will remember how large it is. I know you like to have bigger cities as a means of utilizing every tile, however I had defensive reasons for building many cities on the fringe (on the periphery) of my civilizations. I wanted to control my...

Justanick, I tried razing a city but it didn't give me any workers.
