Yes, there may be two transports but they only carry one artillery unit (all units appear
to embark on two ships). It's a pity that the thing was out of moves, otherwise we
might have some idea how far these transports move per turn.
Whilst I can sympathize with players who feel hard done by when they loose
battles which were in their favour with a 99% chance to win or something, I personally
dislike the idea of a totally (or even partially) deterministic combat system. I like the
fact that in CIV combat result are never...
If that turns out to be correct it would be another good strategy choice -
1./ Don't build an Armory, say, and be able to put more swordsmen in the field

I've included an image below...

New poster here! Whilst browsing these forums I got interested in the idea of a more spherical civ world, and there have been some great threads (like this) on the subject. I came across the icosahedron based method first (with 12 unavoidable pentagons), and I decided to dust off...
Hi all,
I've been playing Civ games on and off for a while now, I've played pretty much all the versions excepting CivI, CivII and Civ Revolutions. I don't generally frequent game forums but I found this one whilst trying to get info on the upcoming Civilization V game.
I'm looking...
