I'm not sure where to post this. Since I'm having major problems with my BTS (that's another story) I decided to uninstall it & return to playing Civ 4 Vanilla & Warlords. Trying to find a modpack, scenario, or anything NOT BTS in the download section, is almost impossible with so many pages...

Well, believe it or not. BTS is now installed & updated to 3.19...not sure how but i whispered a prayer and attempted to reinstall BTS...it got through with no xfr error and is now working!!! Thanks for all your help...now time to dwnld some mods :)

Ok...finally got it past the point of checking directx (not sure how...i had the bts 3.19 patch on my desktop; deleted it & also wiped off the back of the cd)...now I have a new error that occurs after it starts downloading: Feature transfer error Feature: DefaultFeature Component...

Yes, after installing directx from the microsoft website, it gets to the same point and crashes when searching for directx update. Not sure what to do now.
