Diety AI starts with 3 settlers and a bunch of scouts and warriors. It doesn't make any difference, they get an initial boost but they aren't able to convert that into momentum.
I can't tell if Civ6 or BE was more ridiculously easy.
The weird part was when Civ5 came out there was a contingent that believed it was unplayably easy but then BE and Civ6 came around and just blew that right out of the water. The last Civ game to actually be challenging was 4.
Seconded. I'm 100% behind escalating AI bonuses to ridiculous, near (or actually) unbeatable levels. Gives me something to push up against when tweaking out every last abuse of the rules.
