If you could mix and match three uniques, what would you choose?

Ethiopian UA, Shoshone UA, and Japanese UA. NEVER again will you lose a war on your own turf.

    Talk to me about Honor.

Really, other than extreme circumstances, the only two civs I would really consider opening with pure honor are the Aztecs and the Huns.

10 Fixes Needed for the Fall Patch

I really like almost all of those changes you came up with, OP. However, and I know I've probably said this a lot, I think the primary focus (other than things that are straight up not working like the Siam wat jesuit education bug) should be improving outdated vanilla civs. I see you mentioned...

Egypt + Monument to Gods + Marble + Aristocracy?

Believe it or not, I have had a game like this where I got all of those early wonder bonuses. That was the only time I have ever succeeded in building the great library on deity difficulty.

    Soundtrack question

This is true, but to be fair, the melody does switch over to the clarinet briefly near the end!

    Soundtrack question

Ah, thank goodness for this thread! I too have been searching relentlessly for that most angelic english horn masterpiece, and I think as soon as I saw the OP's first post I knew that was the same one. Now I just need to find another European soundtrack piece that features an absolutely...

    New civs post-bnw

I quite liked the idea that Switzerland's UA could have something to do with making anyone that declares war on them absolutely miserable (like huge unhappiness hits, automatic denouncements, loss of delegates, stuff like that). Of course it would be ridiculous to make it impossible to declare...

    A better wonder than Prora?

To me, I can understand the Kremlin being the order wonder and the Prora resort being the autocracy wonder, but I kind of think the effects of the wonders should be reversed. I mean, I can appreciate that happiness can be hard to come by in a warmongering game, but the 50% extra production...

    Any Good Diplo Winners here?!

Sweden is my go to civ for BNW diplomatic victories. Get to your guilds as soon as possible, and make sure they're always being worked in both slots. Food caravans to your cities can help to offset the penalty from working so many specialist slots, which you really want to do as Sweden. I...

What Changes Should the New Civs get in the Fall Patch?

Germany and Japan need to be changed significantly. If they can get to Denmark too, that would be great, but the first two are very outdated and pretty much impossible to play at this point in civ 5's development.

    Poland: Greece on roids

You try playing the Aztecs, honor opener, raging barbarians, and you tell me if you think you could get policies faster as Poland! ;)

Civ 5 Beauty Contest: The men this time!

"One pack"? That's putting kind of generously if you ask me. It's a freaking keg!

    Beauty Contest

Hmmm… As for a male counterpart to this thread for attractiveness, I'm not sure how valid or wanted my input is considering I myself am a guy (and am not interested in other men). I suppose from a completely objective standpoint, it's pretty obvious Gajah Mada is the undisputed loser. I...

Wide is MUCH better than Tall at Culture/Tourism. What am I missing?

I've always found that resettlement tenet kind of dubious. Yes, the happiness buffs from order are great for quelling the insurmountable difficulty one usually finds with keeping wide empires happy, but by the time I get those or really any ideology tenets my empire is pretty much 100%...
