Bad news...the autosave didn't work, so it must happen before the autosave. I'm not sure if it helps diagnose the problem any, but any civ works if it is in my initial background. It is when the screen has to zoom in on the start-up position of my spaniards...that is when my graphics card...

I have not loaded any MODs, unfortunately. I don't know how to just yet. I will try the initial autosave thing. I wonder if that would work! Thanks!
