Well for one, poverty is more . You can see it everywhere on the streets . There is caste discrimination of the reverse nature present now . In government jobs and educational institutes anywhere from 25-50% is reserved for uplift of the so called lower castes .

On the positive side . People are more buoyant and you see lot less complaining about poverty or low paying jobs .

Also the you get a myriad of cultures here . Each single has its own state language and unique culture . We have a lot of religions here as well. Hinduism is dominant , but we have a large muslim population , 3rd largest in the world and a considerable christian ones as well. Of course there is the typical muslim baiting and reverse mainly for votes .

Occasionally riots do break out somewhere between muslims and hindus over some issues which is a shame for the whole nation wherever it occurs .

Interesting you actually are from India (A lot of people on here make up place names to sound cool.) How much different is life there than in other countries?
