Suggest a good mod for a newbie to mods! I've tried the Double Your Pleasure mod, but in the end I didn't like it. Though all the added features were nice, there were a lot of bugs. For instance, when I built a granary, it would show up when "viewing" the city as the "Great Wall of China"...

I bought the game yesterday though! And it works without the patches... How would I prove it to Atari? A picture with a beforehand agreed upon signal?

What can I do to alleviate this problem? It seems that the 1.29f patch is causing the problem. I install Civilization 3 (basic version; no expansions), and test it. It runs fine. I then install the 1.29f patch, and I get an error message telling me to insert the CD. What the hell?!?! I...

I installed patch 1.29f and it's working now. Thanks anyway though! :)

How do you make new civilizations? (Preferably without overwriting other ones) I have vanilla CivIII.

I clicked on the executable for Civilization III but it doesn't open. Only a window of "internet explorer" opens up, and the window is not functional. The same thing is happening for the editor. I was able to run the editor once before this happened. Does anyone know of a fix or patch for this?
