Released Dixie/the Confederacy, based somewhat off StrategyOnly's version but with a new unique unit and some tweaks to balance and unit artstyle.
Artstyle I tried to make them match the USA. They start with Native Americans (Cherokee specifically, with Coffeejunkie's more generic Native...
I got a little inspired after a recent vacation to Virginia, so I set about making a CSA to see how much graphics I could actually get.
They follow a similar unit progression to the USA, starting with Native Americans in the Ancient and Classical (Cherokee in this case) before switching to...
I took a vacation to Virginia recently and decided I wanted to see how doable a CSA civ could actually be.
There aren't as many graphics as America, especially since I didn't want too much American units for Dixie as well. They follow a similar artstyle progression to America, starting with...
Updated the Maya. Compared to the Aztecs, they didn't need an update quite as badly.
With some new graphics from Realism Invictus, the Maya and Aztecs now have some different graphics in the Renaissance and Industrial ages, adding some well-need differentiation between the two.
Next stop: A...
Man I should've taken you up on the offer back then.
2025 UPDATE FOR THE MAYA/CENTRAL AMERICA
Did a bit of cleaning up for the first three eras, added some new graphics for the Renaissance and Early Industrial eras. There's some differentiation between the Aztec and Maya now, though there is...
The Mesoamerican Bombards would be perfect for an intermediary unit between the wooden siege weapons and the Industrial age Cannons.
MightyToad's Mesoamerican units are pretty cool, but I'm not sure who I'd use them for. Aztecs, Mayans, and Incans do already have pretty solid graphics by...
Updated the Aztecs. Unlike Native America, these guys really needed an update badly.
Now they use Bakuel's graphics for the Ancient through Medieval ages. In the Renaissance and early Industrial age they use tangjinfeng's Mexican units. In the Modern age they have a combination of graphics...
2025 UPDATE:
It almost a whole new civ!
The Aztecs now use Bakuel's graphics for the Ancient through Medieval eras. In the Renaissance and early Industrial age they use Tangjinfeng's Mexican units, and then in the Modern age they use a combination of Chugginator and Realism Invictus graphics...
Updated Native America. They didn't need that much of an update, courtesy of the update I gave them in 2016, but I still wanted to make them slightly more distinct from America in terms of late game vehicles used.
Next stop: Aztecs/Mexico
Small update: Added a couple new units, generally replaced US vehicles with different vehicles just so America and Native America have different late game vehicles.
Updated Rome: they now have a more consistent artstyle largely derived from Coffeejunkie's Roman units. They still keep the Rome -> Italy transition in the Middle ages, using mostly Bakuel graphics here. Also I got rid of the Byzantine units here.
Next stop: Native America - I'll be messing...
2025 update: Rome now has a more consistent artstyle, mostly using Coffeejunkie's Roman units in the early and late game, with Bakuel's Italians in the Medieval age.
Also, no more Byzantines.
