The Roman Empire was one of the largest nations in history. At first, they are the Roman Empire, then they're Italy, with a couple of Byzantines during the mid-game.

2025 update: Rome updated with a more uniform artstyle and no more Byzantines (they'll now be exclusive to Byzantium proper).

2025 update: Rome now has a more consistent artstyle, mostly using Coffeejunkie's Roman units in the early and late game, with Bakuel's Italians in the Medieval age.

Also, no more Byzantines.
