This is the only solution I've found to missionary/apostle spam. I've got rings of scouts around my cities and took the economic card that makes them free. The nice thing is that your religious units can hide under the scouts and can't be attacked, so you can take advantage of the spam to boost...

The only major issue I have is that now the fullscreen mode respects hot corners where it didn't before. I don't know if that's a feature-not-bug, but it makes life difficult when you're used to throwing the mouse to the edge of the screen to scroll the map around.
