Eclipse, I just finished playing a very small game (3 civs) just to test out gameplay without having to think too much. I played as the Noldor, and my opponenets were the Mordain and the Dorwinion (sp?). It ran through the whole game w/o crashing. The Dorwinion's were very aggressive though...

My big question is did you modify the tech tree, that was the biggest problems with sween32's mod, i'm sorry but gunpowder just is not believable in Middle Earth. If you have a list of all the changes that would be cool too. Looking forward to it!!!

Did you remember to change the name of the Art folder for the unit when you changed their name, and did you remember to change the .ini file in that folder? The files are in: programfiles/infogamesinteractive/civilization III/art/units/.....

Just a quick question.... This is probably a question that has already been asked, but I can't find the answer (too many threads to read) so here it is. Can I make certain techs unavailable to specific civs? Any help is great thanx.

Not to be a nit-picker, but goblin was the name used by the hobbits to refer to the orcs as a whole, not any specific orcs. The third race of hobbits was the Fallohides. And the Witch King, was called the Witch King of Angmar. Angmar was on both sides of the northern Misty Mountains...

From "The Complete Guide to Middle Earth": The definition for Goblins is simply "The Orcs". Just my .02 I hope this mod works out, I'm not much help in the actual making of the mod but I have about a million books on tolkien and his works, so I can do a lot of research, I also know a ton off...
