subs suck! i almost never use them, save in combination with a bunch of other ships. the Ai always knows where they are and keeps blowing them to pieces. the only useful place for them ive found is gaurding see channels sinking transports san smaller ships, not alone, but 2-3 or with a cruiser...
what i do is guard the transport by 2 aegis and a battlesip (almost inv to most ait and sub attacks, for a time at least. but a turn before i send those shity destroyers ahead to check for missiles or dangers, then use the battelsips to weaken scity defenses and launch a marinehowitzer attacks...
Well well... originally thopugh ranged attacks sucked! saw it in ctp and only added complexity but latter realized only in appearance, it was another way of play, new startegies. now i cant await for it

expansion for sure! i laso play perfectionist (if no one is messing up my borders, though). what is important is to be constantly oblitarating enemy units, destroying what you cant take, war! war! war!
only massive destruction allows to upgrade your cities. a few units well-placed can make...
welll... only once i was able to conquer the world before 1000bc... it happened accidentaly in about 15 turns... i used a large world map, king level, and 3 civilizations. we all were in europe, entered a hut just besides my settler, produced knights... and the world was mine.
Hi! i just love this scenario and i mostly play it with the british... all that ships make possible for the hunt of that invisible ship that keeps sinking my transpost... with those martians not serious trouble is your railroads allow for fast reinforcements.
