My biggest recommendations would be Joe's Garage, Hot Rats (if only for the song "Willie the Pimp"), and We're Only in it for the Money. If You like classical, try Lumpy Gravy and The Perfect Stranger.

To Me: Frank Zappa (The Mothers of Invention) Butthole Surfers, mainly the mid to late 80s stuff.

"Miles," by Miles Davis. Pretty good book if You like jazz music. It's been ghostwritten, so some "creative liberties" were probably taken, but it's still good stuff. One of few guys I can think of who actually sounds pretty good when They curse a lot (George Carlin is another).

Either on CD, on My computer, or on My satellite radio.
