    [BtS] Rise of Mankind 2

This happens to me too, everytime. Not much point starting a game now when I know it's going to happen like clockwork. It's a pity, because it's a great mod and I'd like to keep playing it.

    [mod] Warlords: Total Realism Gold

I had all but given up on civ 4 until I played this mod, its got me hooked on the game again, or it did until.. Yep, I'm gonna complain, the unit graphics all turn black at some random point in the game and for me thats the game over. I don't really want to start up another game and put in...

    Suggestion: Civ Rivals

Set civ rivals is very limiting for long term gameplay, its too ridgid and would get boring after a while. Rivalries in history have come from war, religion, governent/ideoly conflicts. I think they have already implemented that in the game to some degree, which leaves rivalries open to...

    civilizations EVOLVE into others

I've always wanted that too. Distance from capital, add bad management and maybe influence from foreign culture/religion/ could cause revolts were a leader will appear within your civ to challange your postion. The options a seperate state, war, appeasement. It could be added maybe as a...

    Celts

The 'celts' in britian and Ireland were literate at that time due to christianity, (the monks mostly), the anglo-saxon's were pagan and illiterate. I'm pretty sure there is no anglo-saxon literature before they became christianised.

What if Columbus did not discover America?

I've read that there is a complex burial site in New England with Irish Ogham on it, (a from of early Gaelic writing), that has been dated to 800BC and an inscription ten foot in length in W.Virginia dated to 500 and 700AD. Ogham is found predominately in Ireland, less so in Scotland (who...

The Rood and the Dragon - the Anglo-Saxon scenario

Excellent scenario. Very well made with nice attention to detail. I never once felt frustrated or lost, all the info was there and everything runs smoothly. No need for patches (I don't even bother with unfinished/half finished scenarios that get released bit by bit ). If i have any...

    Ghosts|Demons|Magic

Science is the law of the physical world, laws that are always changing with new knowledge and discoveries. If you went back in time to the middle ages with a cigarette lighter, they'd think you were a magician, you might even get burned at the stake if you pissed someone off or spooked them...

The Rood and the Dragon - the Anglo-Saxon scenario

Would it take much work it open up some of the other civs as playable and post it up on the first page? The picts maybe if it wouldn'd leave the human player at too much of an advantage, or some other civ,..or all? It looks like a good scenario and I love this era,.. but I'd like to be able...
