could we have the Authority policy make units in cities not count towards unit cap? Or maybe that should just be true all the time

Just curious how the Religious Authority mechanic functions. I (playing as Ottomans) conquered Amsterdam, which is the holy city for Protestantism. However, when I founded the WC, William still had the Religious Authority votes for Protestanism! Not sure if this is a bug or...

So true! I was playing this morning as Russia, Egypt surprise DOW'd me, and he had Great Wall in his capital. He also had just teched Metallurgy when I didn't even have gunpowder. Wound up spending ~30 turns running around with heavy skirmishers and knights trying to kill his tercios...

It's not a fort replacement. Maybe I'm just a bit salty cause I built the fort initially to move my ships through to deal with Japan on one side of my continent. Then I got the Feitoria tech, started to build one where the fort was, then France declared war on me (other side of the continent)...

Can we make Feitorias have the same "canal" effect as forts? Since it gives a defensive bonus, I don't think this is unreasonable. I was unpleasantly surprised when I spent 7 turns building one and didn't get a canal out of it.

Does the faster influence recovery mean that you can tribute twice as often?

Will this guide be updated to reflect the most recent (June 15) patch?
