The installer is awesome Vehem and great release thanks.
One little thing though, actually two little things: I have the error Tarendel experienced, guess that'll get fixed in patch A and also the installer creates the shortcut depending on the default install path not the modified path...
PP please take into account the stuff I said about the civic which adds food to farms and Agricultural traits. They pretty much ruin the game as they are way too good. Flood plains can produce 8 food combining both...
That should be pretty self explanatory, imho.
One more minor thing to report is that the map starts out with Wetlands and Deep Jungles already spawned. Is this intended? If not Vehem pulled off a nice one and removed them all from all mapscripts at the start of the game.
I have a few quite serious balance issues. First of all the traits of some races are really weak, like the leader with a single Adaptive trait. The Agricultural trait is very definitely broken, every grassland with farm has a 4 food yield, and flood plains give 5 food. Thing is even one food...
I don't think this one would be broken if it was available on turn 1 as it would roughly have a % 50 chance to spawn an elemental. But there are several available on turn 1, which are (almost) broken: Luchuirp and Calabim.
I'm not sure if you don't like me commenting about the Honored Band, but you should know why I am making these complaints about them as you play on Immortal.
My main reasons for not liking SoP are:
i) Too many unique units, almost every unit they have is unique. The Luchuirp do have many UU's...
Or you could try making them produce units with Commerce or Gold obtained from Commerce instead of food when they're using the Conquest civ.
By the way, the Honored Band are making the civ unplayable on higher difficulty levels(Emperor and up). You have to kill at least one civ on Immortal...
Not to repeat myself again, but isn't this extremely conditional as well? I don't think I ever saw a Worker with 70+ xp(highest I ever achieved was 5 work rate + 2 mobility promotions and maybe a def str, which would make the worker lvl 9); let alone a 130 XP one under a charismatic leader.
