Yeah, the music isn't very good. To me, it all sounds the same, while in Civ 4 there were clear distinctions in the eras, music wise. I really liked that.

You can't work the tiles once you get outside three. I did a one city challenge, and I had probably 5 tiles in one direction, and 8 in the other. I was going for a cultural victory, so I didn't have to buy any of those tiles.

I think this comes from when the AI pledges to protect the city-state before you meet it. If it told you it was allied with the CS before you met that CS, that would be bad.

Relates to Nimoy, but I don't like the way the quotes work. If you close the new tech or wonder window, the quote stops playing. In Civ 4, the quotes kept playing. I really like listening to the quotes, but don't like having to wait for the quote to finish to close the window.

1.Diplomacy- not much to do other than trades and very vague pacts of secrecy and cooperation. 2.Make it easier to expand/make AI build more cities. On my standard size map game, the world wasn't close to being completely full. Expansion may go to fast in Civ 4, but it is too slow now.

I had a deal with Elizabeth where I gave her 7 coal/turn in exchange for 16 gold/turn. For some reason, starting on turn 373, it keeps saying Deal Ended, and gives me my 7 coal back. However, it does this continuously until the deal actually runs out (after 30 turns). I ended up with 77 coal...

The movie is pretty good, but it's kind of silly that one guy says he sees the future of his tribe, then it shows the Vikings, Japanese, Egyptians, and Ottomans (I think). I honestly laughed the first time I saw it. That tribe must have had some crazy migration patterns to account for that.;)

They do look a lot better, except for the random plantation hanging out in the river.:crazyeye:

What constitutes winning a battle for a janissary? Do you have to completely destroy the other unit to get the healing bonus, or do you just have to survive, or do you have to inflict more damage than your opponent? This could have a big affect on how powerful the Janissary ends up being.

The Janissary will be pretty powerful, it heals all damage after winning a battle.
