you would probobly get a better speed boost getting a better video card than changing anything else. your setup isnt that bad at all.

personally, i hate msn spaces. clunky, ugly, slow, and most of the time you need to login to.net to view the website. friggen annoying :P

I have used zone alarm and kerio before. not bad, but I just run free-ware antivirus software and I have never encountered any problems. Firewalls just slow down computers.

18, since civ 1!!! Yep, i was very young when i started palying, on my cousins 386. I remember my first civ was the babylonians (light green!) yep, civ 2 was just awesome, .life revovled aroudn it... then civ 3, and it was pretty good. but no life revolving. If Civ 4 is a dissapointment...

hrm, well the "water" looks like its higher than the ocean tiles. So maybe its a lake or something? (bridge building!!) or perhaps just another tile. maybe ice or something???

Well, i'm looking for a good summer game to play. Any advice? I like team-based FPS and strategy games Tribes 3 could have been my sumemr game but it flopped. Its a shame, was lookign forward to it. Games that i've played that may give you an idea to help make recomendations: SimCity...

uninstall, go to the game directory, and delete the leftovers. then reinstall. if does not work, uninstall, and reinstall in a different directory

it would be great if the map was made a bit smaller, my machine only runs large maps with 8 civs including me, for no lag games.

i still dont use explorers, i usualy just send out settlers unguarded to explore and settle. then again, i dont play with barbarians. i think the new bombardment is excelent too. catapults actualy work now!
