I'm 17. Got hooked on my cousin's copy of Civ 1 when I was around 9 or 10, then bought Civ 2 for myself as soon as it came out. Been hooked ever since.

My advice would be to go BACK to Regent and play a game where you don't build any wonders at all. See how you do. Maybe you haven't "mastered" Regent as well as you think you have. Ision has an excellent article in the War Academy about wonder addiction.
