this is already in place. Its hard to maintain a huge army. You get a huge ---gold per turn if you have a huge army. 10-20units of just workers, and soldiers can hurt your economy. As for scale I never really had issue with maps being to small for 1UPT. Even on duel maps i never had a issue.

i like the game and i post in here ;) yah civ5 has flaws but its still a fun game to play

i just conquer city states and take the resources :) . The AI usually conquers them in my game to leaving only a few city states left

I like the 1 unit per hex

After 20 or 30 so turns You get both civilizations get a free random technology. It will say how many turns till u a free technology on the research agreement

go for a space race victory or something :)

don't think the AI cheats on prince. They don't receive any special benefits. Also if you want advice and help be more specific What civilization your playing what terrain improvements are you using , what policies your adopting, what map type are you playing Or post a ScreenShot of your...
