FYI...still had this problem after patch. Went back to the store and swapped my disks out. Game fired right up with new set of disks. If you still have this problem, you might try this beore some kind of firm ware upgrade.

FYI - I loaded the "Patch" and still had the - "please insert correct cd-rom" error.

after loading the 1.08 patch, I still get the same error. Wrong CD. Great.

Bummer. I am afraid I am going to seriously screw up my PC trying to make this game run, and I am sure 2K will help me fix it if this happens.

give me a break, you are complaining about a hot disk, and mine won't even play.:D

Has anyone just tried to take the disks back and say they are defective? I do not know what else to do. Perhaps I just got some bad disks.
