Found another case where you can't end turn.
I finished a civic and changed my policies. On the same turn I got Adam Smith who cave me one extra economic policy slot. Game does not let me end my turn before I fill my empty policy slot but I can't fill it because I have already changed policies...
Few more points.
- Religious units only heal inside or next to your holy sites.
- Remember to use the government and the policy card that gives you bonuses to religious combat
- Religious units can't be attacked if they are inside a city but they can attack out of the city like normal units...
For me it seems that AI has huge problems dealing with city walls. Specially if you build them after they have started the attack. Cities without walls they seem to surround and attack at some point but they have problems bringing support units to right places to attack city walls. If you have...
One way to stop a religious victory in situation where you are already converted to the winning side is to make a bunch of missionaries, run them to area where religious borders are and let the other sides apostles to kill them. That way they get more are and the winning religion will lose area.
Tested Commercial Hub Investment also and it did not give any gold like it should. Maybe this is because there are no more great scientist or great merchant left.
Most of the people use this for the great scientist points and that part seems to work just fine. Description says that grants should also give some amount of science but that part seems to be broken.
I had a game where new and improved deity AI was closing in cultural victory in about 30-40...
Game speed also makes different difficulties harder or easier. On harder difficulties where AI gets a lot of units slower game speeds make it harder to stop their or barbarians first push. It just takes a lot longer to get your initial units out so AI has more time to move troops. On the other...
Ah ok, that explains it. Thanks. I guess I enjoy extra gains as long as it lasts.
When I think about it I actually would not mind if holy sites, theaters and entertainment districts would give higher gains than more popular districts. That might give a reason to build them earlier than normal.
Has anyone seen or done any list of what gives bonuses to internal trade routes? I know a city center gives 1 food + 1 prod and most districts give some bonus and there are policy cards that improve gains. I have looked my routes a bit more now and those things does not seem to add up.
I give...
AI getting second settler in emperor is not a big deal. AI bonuses have always been how Civ games have added the difficulty. Idea is to test how far behind you can start and still catch up and win.
I think Deity starts in Civ6 with something like 3 settlers, 8 warriors and free builders in...
What I have seen they also hate each others for warmongering so it's not just you they denounce it is everyone looks like. But yeah, doing any sort of attack after classical era means you are hated rest of the game by everyone unless you get lucky and manage to meat both of their agendas.
Hah. Finally lost my first game after those four wins I told earlier. Deity, random leader, random map. Got France. Starting location 2 hexes deep in the tundra. I spend first two turn just to run out of tundra and then settled on turn 3. Normal 2-1 capital and had 3-1 horses and 2-1 stones next...
AI has huge problems in finishing the game unless they get religious victory by accident. I have only had time to play four full games. I started with king and got easy science victory with India. Then moved to emperor and won easy domination with Rome. Third game was on immortal and I played...
I agree what redwings1340 said earlier. You should not think that policy is the best. You should think what you want to do in in next few turns. The time you want to plan forward is the time which it takes you to get your next policy. Usually there is a card or two that will help your plan and...
