We have a social security card, which is issued to everyone. It is not a picture I.D, nor is it required to carry. You can use it as ID together with anything with your picture. Personally, I don't mind the idea of a single ID, but there is no real need for it

Never use it. Without it, you can still win by conquest anyways, so it just limits your options. As for the AI blasting off the rock, well...if you can't control the AI, do you really deserve to win?

I almost always customize. I chose different land size (normal or large) depending on mood. Normal Climate, but wet weather (to get more terrain that can be changed to grasslands before explosives.) Random opponents, male leader and raging hordes. Standard rules.
