You just declared war on the wrong country, buddy!

I'm currently in third place... except in military prowess, where I kick ass! One of the top three just declared war on me, so I'm just going to have to teach 'em a lesson and reduce his "mighty" civilization to one sqare! Poor SOB. :rocket: :rocket3: :ripper: :rocket2: :sniper:

    Speaking of "Razing" cities....

If I made the mistake of establishing a city in a bad location, and now it is just not producing or feeding itself, is there any way I can wipe it off my map- demolish it- and relocate it's sparse population?:rocket2:

    Is this a role-playing game?

It is a strategy game... like a cross between chess and Monopoly, but it is also a role playing game in that you assume the role of leader of a fledgeling and developing civilization. Hope this explanation helps.:D

Loading ships... I don't quite get it.

Now that I'm producing Frigates & Gallions (in massive numbers), I'm having trouble understanding how to load men & equip. into them. If I have several ships and several men in one city, how can I tell what and how many are actually there? How do I load the ship if I cannot tell what all is on...

    Increasing Food Production?

To increase food supply to a city, does a worker have to be produced from that city to irrigate the land, or can any worker produced from any city do this so long as the irrigation connects to said city? Sorry for the run-on sentence.:frog:

.... And we thought Baldur's Gate was addictive!

We have only one capable computer. We take turns playing our seperate games, which is torture for the other one who's turn it is to relinquish the computer. Soon we'll have two... hopefully in time for the MP upgrade (?).:slay:

.... And we thought Baldur's Gate was addictive!

My wife and I have been avid players of Baldur's Gate and it's sequels. We thought we were addicted to THAT! HA!! Now Civ III... THAT'S adictive! It is a bit scarry in that when we get home from work or have a free weekend, we know we'll be drawn to the PC for at least five hours. Now that...

How to discover/ uncover new resources?

Should workers mine every possible mountain or hill in order to discover new "luxury" resources, or will they present themselves on the board automatically?
