If I made the mistake of establishing a city in a bad location, and now it is just not producing or feeding itself, is there any way I can wipe it off my map- demolish it- and relocate it's sparse population?:rocket2:

Yep! Build settlers and when you are down to the last 2 pop you effectivly raized your own city and left with a settler

By building a worker, your population decreases by 1
By building a settler, your population decreases by 2

This means, in order to "Raze" your own city, you need to continue to decrease the population.

Set all of your tiles inside your city to entertainers, or taxmen, or scientiest .. what ever you want. Hence no food, so your population will decrease.

So once ur population get's small enough, the last worker/settler will cause ur city to disapear.

Better still is not to starve them off, but to send them packing. Under Despotism or Communism you can rush build workers or settlers, losing people from the rushbuilding and people from the creation of the unit, under other government types you can just spend the money to form the unit. Take your newly created workers or settlers and send them to join other towns. You can place a city on a floodplain and rush-build workers out of it continuously...sending them to other towns that are growing slowly...
