AI always finds other continent quickly, but just now playing a multiplayer game. No shallow water between continents and others are two busy on other continent to research caravel anytime soon. Just killed the last of two civs from my continent, so might have have 50+ turns alone with the city...
I presume civs who haven't met that city state can't participate, so if only two civs have met that city state, only they can win this one? What if all the other civs have been conquered from the continent, I am there alone and no-one else has met these city states. Do they still have these...
Thanks. Just got a multiplayer game where I am now alone on my continent and have a nice tech lead. Good to know that if I just keep others away from my cities and won't have embassies, they can't steal anything :)

If I won't use great people right away, but I save them for later golden age, how much they cost per turn. I remember there was some costs per GP, but I can't remember how much it was.
Axemen can do it. 7,5 vs 8 is quite close and axemen are bit cheaper.
There are many "unbeatable" UUs. Only chance agaisnt them is to outnumber then / stay in towns and defend / outresearch them and get more modern units.
- Cossacks? They get bonus str and bonus agaisnt mounted units...
Thanks Snepp, so it's not for the attack purposes then in any case. Strange that it isn't said anywhere. When reading civilopedia, I got idea that Chos would be as good as catapults dealing collaretal damage.
China is industrial and financial, so quite a builder civ. Cho seems to be nice...
