So your point is you don't get an amazing starting location every game and thus there is a problem? Now I get that having your first city in a bad spot is a problem but you can always re-roll. Nothing to it. It also isn't a civ6 problem. Terrain has always had it's role in civ games.
For...
That's true. But they could also either have more buildings per district, thus forcing players to decide which ones they value more, or have more buildings be located in the city centre.
Yeah. The idea seems to be that no two games will be similiar, thus continuing with the theme of playing to the map. I very much like the idea that all the civs will behave at least slightly differently in each game.
Just hope there will be enough hidden agendas in the game.
I find it very strange that forests gives as good yields as bonus resorces do. Something really isn't right there. Balance-wise it's very strange that a forested grassland hill gives better yields than a grassland stone.
Hmmmmm. Let's try this then.
Finland
Leader- C.G.E. Mannerheim
Agenda - An enemy of my enemy
Likes civs that are fighting a common foe with Finland. Dislikes civs that declare war against civs Finland is friendly with.
LUA - Friendly conscripts
Finland get a unit from the warrior line for...
It's always possible that with add-ons some of the uniques will be shuffled/altered so it's still possible. I'm also quite certain that if we get a WW2 scenario there will be some unique tanks.
Honestly though, I'm not all that bothered. I quite dislike late era uniques to beging with. Bit as...
Honestly, I don't think we'll see more dev-streams. All of those aspects can be explored through the let's plays by youtubers and I'm sure they allowed for the youtubers to post for a reason. And honestly, I don't think there are any really relevant new concepts that need to be showcased by the...
What I'm hoping for is that the press release is still a work in progress so it is plausable that they will try to nerf certain aspects of the AI script before release. Or possibly have a big patch something like 1-2 weeks after with all the feedback from gamers.
I think the UA makes a lot of sense. The first part gives tonnes of land, which is very Russian in the sense of controlling thi biggest land area in the world without the population not really being comparable to it. The second part is more about gameplay (even though it could be argued that...
What I don't really get is why people get so wound up by Lavra not having that big of an unique factor. It's more about balance at the end of the day. It's strength comes from the fact that it's very early, and very spammable. Giving a strong unique power would most likely make it totally OP...
Well...I at least have no clue on how the rest of the terrain will look like. It might be that there will be glorious settling locations for further cities which could make winning much easier. It's not only about the cap.
