I wonder if we get more streams from Firaxis devs, the game is here in couple of weeks but there's still stuff they could tell us more about, like

Espionage
Late game warfare (bombing districts etc)
Archeology
Late game diplomacy and ideology

I can't see them wanting to add to the avalanche of let's plays we've already been getting. There's such a thing as overkill.

Honestly, I don't think we'll see more dev-streams. All of those aspects can be explored through the let's plays by youtubers and I'm sure they allowed for the youtubers to post for a reason. And honestly, I don't think there are any really relevant new concepts that need to be showcased by the devs. Unless they've hidden something from us completely by not having it in the press build, which I find extremely unlikely.

We still have two weeks. IIRC there was a Civ V live stream of the finished game sometime before launch. I wouldn't be surprised if there was one more livestream just to show off the late game stuff.

Oh right, Multiplayer and modding parts of the game have not been discussed about either.

Yeah, that's what I'm most curious about, the multiplayer part. Any additional options? What about pitboss (seperate from Steam-account, please). Lobby improvements? Enabling mods in multiplayer, etc.

Yes, there has not been any info about modding since an interview mentionning mods available in multiplayer, tools similar to civ5, working tools for units modelling and... more informations to come.

I'm very curious about the specifics, like if it still use Lua, XML and SQL, what kind of mods will work in MP, can we use scenario in MP, etc...

I don't think modding is a good idea for dev livestream. Audience is limited, topics are very specific and it's impossible to cover all mod capabilities in this format. Multiplayer is more likely candidate, but again - audience is limited.

Maybe we'll get a release day live stream just to show full game.

didn't pete keep streaming BE after it came out? it does seem strange though that there are a few systems of which we have absolutely no information

There're a lot of features that haven't been explained by the devs (espionage, air combat, archaeology, etc.), so I think it's possible.

Firaxis did an all day live stream when BE was released. So I am pretty sure they will do a live stream on civ6's release day. It's kind of a big deal after all. We will probably get a live stream the week before too.

But there are a lot of streams already with the info.

Same could be said of religion, and other subjects that were firstly introduced by streamers and later explained properly by the devs.

IMHO the devs point of view and knowledge on a feature is quite different from the view of a random streamer that experienced it for few hours/days.

Besides only devs can talk, with knowledge, about why they took certain game design decisions. For instance what's the idea behind the Lavre district.

A Russian stream tonight could be possible...

Firaxis is pretty good at announcing live streams 24 hours in advance. Today's live stream has already been announced as being XCOM2 on console. So there won't be any civ6 live stream today.

I feel like any more Livestreams from Firaxis would be redundant unless they are showing Sumeria, Arabia, or Russia.
