What is the largest stack you've been attacked with?

Wow, thats insane. The biggest I've ever seen was 4 stacks of about 15? units each coming from Alexander. It was a scary mix of riflemen, cavalry, and grandiers. Even though I had Infantry, I was expecting such a humongous force, and all my units were fighting a war against Japan. Luckily...

    Diseases/plagues

I like this idea. It adds a little more something so you need to be careful when it comes to internal collapse. Perhaps another penalty for putting a city under quarintine would be severe unhappiness. The immune military units infecting other civs sounds good to. Kind of like an early germ...

    Have Harsher Unhappiness Penalties

That's exactly the kind of thing I would like to see. That was why the Greeks fell as a united people before Alexander rose to power. All of the other city-states got mad at Athens and started the Polyponnesian Wars. In Civ, cities should be able to rebel against you if there's extreme...

    Some ideas for next expansion.

Biological and chemical warfare! Biological weapons with the discovery of biology and chemical weapons with the discovery of chemistry. In the late game, these could be loaded into missiles.

    Have Harsher Unhappiness Penalties

The unhappiness penalties need to be tweaked. A lot. There are almost no ill effects for having angry citizens, meaning a large city can have 5 angry citizens without you even noticing. In Civ II, a city with more unhappy citizens than happy citizens would fall into civil disorder and all...

The poll to stop any other hitler threads.

I'm going with yes because when you think of a German leader, a lot of people are going to say that nazi Adolf Hitler. He also helped revolutionize mobile warfare with his Blitzkreig tactics.

Ways to make Sea Units more appealing

I agree with you there. A ship positioned next to a city should be able to cut off resource trade to and from that city. However, the means by which a city is available for sea trade should change. A harbor should definitely be required, and maybe even a lighthouse to ensure safe seas. Ships...

Ways to make Sea Units more appealing

You can use bombers and fighters to destroy farms and mines, but not roads in railroads (which you should be able to do). It'd be nice to see the Civ 3 style of bombardment back too, where you attack the unit without it attacking you. Put that in for ships and siege weapons. I like the "sea...

THE only thing I miss about Civ 3

Maybe if the AI was better at tactics and planning they would be able to survive a WW and stay ahead. I tried to get a WW started, but for some reason my enemy's buddies were too scared to get into it. So instead it became a crushing 3 vs. 1, and I was allied with the other 2. All wars in...

    Symptom of too much Civ?

Same here! For some reason I keep replaying my next moves and making up military strategies for my campaigns. And if I found a really good resource or uninhabited island, I get so excited I start to flip out because the settler isn't being built fast enough.

What ever happed to the diplomat

Initiate Propaganda: When conducted in a city, it makes it easier for it to "flip" when under your cultural pressure and lessens resistance when taken over. Also makes mission success rates higher in that city. When conducted in a capital city, a "nation-wide" propaganda campaign can be used...

    Light future

Back in Civ. 2: Test of Time there was an extended original game where you could research into the future and build robots and genetically engineered units. You could even win by researching transendence. Teleportation Centers could be a terrain improvement that allows units to transport...

What ever happed to the diplomat

I like that idea. The same should go for fighters and bombers, and possibly ICBMs. The spy should also be able to sabatoge these units, damaging or even destroying the units for a gold cost. Maybe if you sabatoge an ICBM, there may be a nuclear explosion when the missile is disabled. :sniper...

What ever happed to the diplomat

I also want to see more options for spies. It sucks that they can only sabotage improvements and investigate cities. In Civ 2 they had a ton of different things they could do, including planting a nuclear device. An earlier spy unit is needed too, but they shouldn't have as many options as...

the logic of choosing the types of food resources

Tabocco would be a good luxury resource that reduces health. it makes people happy up until the discovery of biology or medicine.
