Wow...I saw this and was stunned. Stunned why? because Since CivIII I have NEVER played a single game with a victory condition on. Makes no sense...can't "win" at life with some lil project or with how many friends ya have so...only way to play with true realism is with no winning conditions...
Well....I have three PCs we are trying to play on (via LAN). Using one copy of the game we can;t get past the "resolving host information" screen. But when we try two machines, and two different steam accounts (each with a separate copy of the game), it works fine. So...really...first Civ...
1- in RoM (2.71) does the city radius expand at some point or is that part of another mod?
2- Is there terraforming (Changing Global Warming desert to grass for example).
I'll just go over the facts.
-Playing RoM 2.8
-3 Human players
-7 AI players
-Playing over LAN
-PCs- 1- 32bit Vista, 1- 32bit XP, 1 64bit Vista
-Basic game options selected on "Huge" map size (didnt muck with many settings)
Game goes OOS instantly. Any ideas? When playing BtS the...
Thx for the linkI ll check that one out. Mainly looking for a mod that expands the game without overexpanding lol. More units, techs, longer game but not going too overboard into stuff that just doesnt work........yeah i know, sounds like i want a whole new game lol.
So, me and a few buddies like to play Civ4 (BTS) on a home LAN. My question is simple, are there any mods that will work with multiplayer? (On a LAN that is).
