How can I achieve faster science victories?

I've read this tip quite a few times but couldn't find any explanation. Could you explain why you need to wait 8 turns after buying labs before you burn the GS ? Thanks ! :)

    Foreign Lands

Living in Europe makes it quite easy: Italy, UK, Belgium, Andorra, Netherlands, Ireland, Bosnia, Hungary, Monaco, Vatican, Albania, Malta, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria, Finland, Grece, Slovenia, Croatia, Senegal, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, United...

    European Federation?

Considering the british tendency to slow down the european construction maybe De Gaulle's nationalism wasn't that bad ;)

Republicans Protest Small Campaign Donations and Early Voting

You might need to prove these allegations. For now, this mass Mickey Mouse donation system is just a speculation. To get back to the real issue, it's pretty backward for a democracy to directly link election and money.

Which language would you like to learn?

First I'd like to strengthen my Italian and my German. Spanish would be a good choice, but I'm very very curious with Arabic.

2 weeks before the election - McCain or Obama?

My parents decided to live in France when I was a child. I recieve an absentee ballot every two years. I only voted twice in person, in Connecticut, where my family lives. Since I'm much less concerned than the citizens living in my town I only vote in significant foreign policy elections...

Do some americans sometimes change political allegiance?

Maybe a look back at your posts here during these 3 years could give us a clue. Interesting, what does those two democrats have, or what do their republican counterparts lack?

    The Reaction

Democrats have their activists, Republicans have their reactionists. Supporters of both sides can be harmful to their own party. It's pretty common to feel ashamed when listening to some ridiculous words from people actually voting like us. This video is biased in the way that it has chosen...

Why arn't political personal attacks considered defamation?

Sueing people attacking you doesn't give a good image of you to the public. It rather gives an image of somebody that doesn't handle the critics easily.

French minister's English confirms stereotype :-)

In French, "glace" (pronounce "glass") means ice or ice cubes aswell. In the US, a French friend of mine asked for "a whiskey, but without glace". The waiter made him repeat a few times and came back a few minute later with a bottle of whiskey. The same guy back in France around his barbecue...

    France in recession

Since recession is somewhat a little bit linked with the subprimes in the US, it would've been also refreshing for an american to mention it ;)

So who won the VP Debate?

When having to support the death penalty, give credit to ID, be against women rights, gay rights, and beeing concerned by other pueril pathetic under-the-belt considerations is required to be a right-winger in the US aswell then, indeed, I can only consider my self an American "liberal". edit...
