    Rhye's Without Stability?

btw, you can't win UHV with Germany due to stablility. German historical area is a lot smaller than its goals. I managed to control Britain, France, Greece, Rome and Sweden. I have a 5 star economy, 4 stars cities, 4 stars foreign and 3 stars civics (democracy). Noway to Russia since I'm already...

    single city resurrection back again?

a small question: once the rules were changed and a minimum of revolting cities was set as 2 (i mean ressurection only). now single cities revolt regularly. intended?

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

@pcasey 1. constant micromanagement. 2. exploiting the bugs in C3 engine. in the end of the turn the game calculates research and taxes first, food and production after it.

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

Salamandre i didn't mean roman troops are too good. BTW, your screenshot confirms that roman workers are great: road and mines everywhere. even in 159 BC, Emperor level.

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

Pink, one more idea about workers' specialization. You can make some effective slave-miners, generated by ferrarius or ferrarius magnum and remove this ability from fabri. I consider it is "too hard" to mine for roman citizens ;), this job is for slaves! BTW, in your mod fabri mine too...

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

do you want even more velites????? IMHO, to reduce their number you should remove their working abilities at all. velites are troops, they can bombard and they don't have support. that's enough for them. instead you may give more servi to the player and make fabri free-support.

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

hahaha, now i have 200+ velites and no problem with roads even during barbarian wars. i buid road to the city in the same turn i capture it. pink, if you do something to velite's stats (remove road-building) you should create some 2-movement workers. people got used to them. 6 gpt is perfect...

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

make it A2 - i don't care. I have 100+ velites in 15-unit-stacks and keep them for road-building ONLY. BTW, they are great road-builders if used in masses.

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

well, i think a reasonable player should not build any catasta. yes, you get latifundia. +10 gpt in Roma, +4-6 in other big cities. but, pollution is a pain. it wastes production and sometimes trade also. plus supporting all the legions to clean it everytime. you are to spend a lot of...

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

Pink, I think catasta should give more bonuses for the player: it makes people unhappy, generates pollution and nothing positive, but an ability to build more improvements. May be as it's a slave market it should produce servi once every 10-15 turns. In my game i use servi for irrigation only...

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

I don't. I attacked Carthage around 250 BC (not in 270-s). Landed in Africa very soon and Captured Hippo Regius (i knew it produced terrible horsemen). Involved all the possible allies (specially Numidia). It was a very bloody war! I kept producing legio after legio, cumba after cumba. I...

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

220 BC - Carthago finally captured. I've met Hamilcar and one more army near Hispalis. Xantippus was killed by Numidians after i damaged him. And there was one more huge HP unit in Carthage. In my game Corinth was taken by Philip around 220 BC. Also Nabatea was eliminated by Ptolemey. 210...

Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire

well, for historical accuracy you may use latin periodization - from the foundation of Roma. since you already have all these latin terms and names in the mod.
