To the point where it's no use to bother paying for any of the expert planters who grow the same items as slaves. If I get a Great General and I'm not planning on using them for war soon I'll attach him to a slave overseer just to reach the next 25% bonus. In a 2 plot colony, you can go crazy...
Great to hear you guys have addressed this because once your army is 34 times the size of theirs and it's obvious they can't realistically recover it became just a game of whack-a-mole but in an extremely annoying way since they still hold onto every single FF they recruited. Maybe a feature...
With regards to Founding Fathers it should be acknowledged them some of them had no real loyalty to any particular nation or crown. Many were opportunistic to the Nth degree in seeking a fortune under any banner that would fly above them, Colombus and Magellan being great examples. Others like...
Okay, what's the point of a quest w/o a reward though? And I have scrolled through all the messages with nothing related to them except the one telling me they've been initiated but when I get to 10 times the amount of the good shipped definitely would say there's something amiss
I've noticed that almost 80% of my current quests aren't giving out the reward upon completion. e.g. I had the one for Sheep to Africa and the amount was 2000. I'm now at the point where I must be past 5,500 but whatever checks inside the system is missing its check or just not adding correctly...
I totally agree with your sentiment I think. You can monkey around in-game and reach solutions to most problems when you care enough but we live in a world of instant gratification, thanks Ronald McDonald . My work schedule is finally affording me enough free time I can commit to helping...
The term ''processed" is a lot more ambivalent than it needs to be is really the issue. Maybe take a little bit of accountability and realize that if you’re saying MANY people have issues with it and English is not your 1st language you should get someone else to clean it up a bit. I know you...
I’ll try another Monastery on another build amd see what happens but the 1st one is non functional. To be perfectly clear when you say the unit that processed it, that would be the Pioneer correct? Right now I looked and when my Evangelist fresh off the boat hit a tile in my colony’s borders...
Does anyone have issues with the Mission improvement not generating the extra crosses promised? Definitely built it, staffed it and waited but nothing changes
I've had a problem where when I land a free ship off of a Founding Father they spawn in one of the Great Lakes instead of the ocean. Is this supposed to happen? If so could we work on some kind of control for a player to dictate where a unit does spawn? This would also apply to Great Generals...
With regards to #7 here I've had very similar sentiments. I think it should also apply out at sea with merchant vessels transporting goods and there should be a metric called Morale that affects what happens if units are undersupplied. For the military, they should have a finite # of turns...
City workers requiring equipment does seem like it would only exacerbate the biggest problem with the mod i.e. meaningless goods that are small in historical relevance i.e., goatskin lined boots, but still take up important space on the trade interfaces. What would be easy to see fixing the...
I like the idea of having at least a commandant who runs the academy and decreases the time to train new officers. This is a matter of purely personal opinion but I don't see the point in making tiny little half-hearted additions to the mod. Stuff like slaves having overseers is one of the most...
