There are different victories, because there are different ways to play Civ. Honestly, the war path, is the easiest of all, and sometimes, when you're not the first to launch your space navet, or to oppress others cultures with massive tourism, a war is a good way to still winning the game...

Orléans ? Why not, but honestly, Troyes being the third city is just weird, at least when it was Reims it was somewhat understandable. This new way is definitly better.

If you want to speak about Paris, it's not like this. There is Paris, the town, which is the only city of Paris's departement (75), which is about 2.2 million like you said. But there is the région Ile-de-France, which is about 12 million, and the Paris's urban area which is near 13 million...

Hi CivFanatics ! I have played Civilization since Civ II, and I find this awesome site back when I was searching for mods for Civ IV, but I only register myself now, before the launch of Civ VI, and I hope it will be an awesome game, like the others.
