Yea, I lost my focus after the defeat of the khmer. My goal at the start of the game was to kill off the khmer with swords/catas as I felt I was beeing boxed in. However I overestimated how many units I would need and ended up attacking too late and was then left with a huge stack of underteched...
Thanks, im going to upgrade right after i finish this game. Is it possible to just run the 4.1 installer and install the update over my 3.0 version or will I have to reinstall the game completely?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone could help to a good strategy to win this game? I took out the Khmer next to me with swords/catas and thought I had a strong enough army left to kill off native american but that didnt happend so now I think im in a pretty bad spot and need some advice.

Headed straight for music for the great artist(for GA later). Generated a GC which i used to bulb Alpha(because of failing tactic, didnt want to do this). Also running HR.
Great Library and national epic built in capitol, now running 4 scientists. Probably time to get some up to date...
For me i didnt notice that much of a change in difficulty switching from noble to prince, however, the starting location and available land makes a huge difference in difficulty of that particular game.
Selling lots of copies nowdays seems to come more and more from flashy commercials and control over gaming-review-sites like IGN and GameSpot and less from actually making a solid game that you would recommend to your friends. Therefore i do not see why civ6 would be any improvement over civ5.
Ok im gonna have to read up on this culture thing because i really have no idea how it works. I did notice when attacking washington however, that it had a 40% tile defence(?).

I have been a little sloppy with tile improvements during war and im probably lacking a few workers...
You need to get cities out quickly in the early game and try to grab some good land before other the other civs come nockin'
Dont be afraid to let your science slider go down to 40-50% to break even, with a few commerce cities your economy will soon recover
