There are a lot you can do with the worker. Beside the usual task of building road, improving the land, etc..., the worker can also lead troops into battle and help our troops to overcome enemy defensive position.

The key to war unhappiness is "many years" at war you said in your post. It works just like in the real world. It doesn't matter if your war is just, war weariness will kick in if you are at war for a long time.

It really depends on the situation. If my city have a lot of food, can grow back fast, and my people are so happy (dancing and partying in every turn), I probably can get away with killing off a couple of them without anyone notice.;) Also, I usually pop rush a courthouse and market in newly...
