Your pedia detailing in your work is top notch. I would plug Midevil mod as a educational Resource in schools .

Nope. All city locations are predetermined for a reason. There are only about 320 possible cities; it keeps turn times down, and honestly, it's more realistic than settling "just anywhere." Also, the map ain't getting any smaller.
And to be honest, you don't need to fill up Siberia, or the Sahara, or the Amazon, or the Himalayas.

Look at my empire in world map, all u need to do is have alot more troops, expo (expand) alot more then switch to Communism
You're obviously not familiar with Quint's map- it's 31 civs on the Huge Earth Map (the one that came with Vanilla), and it has no corruption (So Communism is worthless)

It works like this:
First time the city name is reached: "CityName"
Second time the city name is reached: "New CityName"
Third Time: "CityName 2"
4th: "New CityName 2"
5th: "CityName 3"
6th: "New CityName 3"
And so on.

Not that much, but yeah they do add to the score IIRC.
If only Future Techs actually gave you something, like Laser Guns or Giant Robots...
Anyway, upcoming is a picture of my empire, shown in the minimap, as it encompasses too much land to fit in one screenshot.
So anyway, I've been playing Quint's 31 civ Earth Map for a while as the Mayans, starting in Central Canada (a location which kinda sucks) and I'm now at 1816, and the end of the Industrial Age. Previous wars have allowed me to conquer the Arabs, Aztecs, and Chinese, so I control pretty much all of North America. Things have recently gone to hell- The Dutch declared war on me about 12 turns ago, and, a few (hundred) MA's and MPP's later, there's a whole lot of wars going on. A few peace treaties have been signed, but not many. So far in the current wars (the Arabs, Aztecs, Chinese, Sumerians, Ottomans, and Byzantines were long gone by the time the world went to hell), 4 nations have been conquered:
-Germany (By Egypt)
-France (By the Iroqouis)
-Inca (By Me)
-Babylon (By Rome)
And several more near destruction. Aside from that, a few cities have changed hands (namely, I've conquered a few colonies in Alaska), but things are pretty much stagnant right now. Fortunately for me, I'm far ahead in tech, and Marines, Tanks, and Bombers shall soon be mine.
So, anyway, here's the map, with countries labeled and borders crappily drawn. I've also labeled a few province-like things in my own borders, since others have done that in the past.
If a nation has "Evil" near their name, I'm at war with them (And I REALLY hate the Dutch, Russians, and Hittites, so I capitalized the "Evil")
I know it looks kinda crappy in some areas, and I don't care.
